In Destiny 2 begins today, November 3, the last week before the major expansion Beyond Light. We will see what the final reset of Season 12 has in store for you.
This is coming up in Destiny 2: Just now, the Halloween event 2020 has ended, but that shouldn’t concern the Guardians much. Because in a week, the long-delayed expansion Beyond Light will finally start on November 10.
- In the Nightfall: The Ordeal, you will reap double loot.
- Also, note that you must complete all triumphs from 2020 before the next reset.
Many Guardians can hardly wait for the release and analyze every little piece of news about the DLC in detail. Bungie even had to rein in the puzzle solvers.
Others seize every opportunity to prepare. But is it worth stockpiling bounties and grinding levels before Beyond Light arrives?
We now also know that Beyond Light will be larger than Shadowkeep but smaller than Forsaken:

This is coming up in the Nightfalls: In the regular Nightfall (Power Level 820), the following Nightfall strikes will be available:
- A Garden World
- Strange Terrain
- The Corrupted
Nightfall: The Ordeal sends you into the strike:

- Additionally, it seems that the strikes rotate here
Strikes and story missions come with these modifiers:
- Solar Singe
- Grounded
- Brawler
As always, the Singe modifier remains constant throughout the week. The other modifiers rotate daily.
Crucible: In PvP, you have these activities to choose from:
- Private Match (Core Playlist)
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Control (Core Playlist)
- Mayhem (Rotation Playlist)
- Countdown (Rotation Playlist)
- Elimination (Core Playlist)
- Survival (Core Playlist)
- Survival: Freelance (Core Playlist)
- Classic Mix (Core Playlist)
Showdown: The following modifiers are active:
- Void Singe
- Brawler
Escalation Protocol: The weapons of the Escalation Protocol are available in the current version with additional perks and mod slots during the Contact event and the Prophecy dungeon. However, the armor is still only available through the activity on Mars, but for some time now in the “Armor 2.0” variant.

Petra Venj can currently be found (Curse Week 2) for one week directly at the landing zone of the Dreaming City. You can also take on the 6th Ascendant Challenge .

This is how Powerful loot is divided in Destiny 2: Powerful loot comes in several tiers that grant you various power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers grant you higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 over your current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 over your current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 over your current power level)
- pinnacle gear (+5 or more over the power level. The only gear that goes over 1050 and up to a maximum of 1060)
For your information: Power levels gained through the new artifact “Seed of the Silver Wings” will not be considered in the calculation of your drops. Here, the average of the gear and weapons is decisive.

- Clan reward from Hawthorne (power boost of +2)
