Today, on 03.03., it’s time for the Weekly Reset in Destiny 2. This brings players new weekly challenges, fresh Nightfall strikes, and a new Flashpoint. But what else is there to do?
This is currently happening in Destiny 2: Today marks the last week of Season 9 in Destiny 2. You have one more week to complete outstanding content.
With the start of Season 10, quite a few things will disappear:
Additionally, Guardians are eager for announcements of new PvE content, as not all players are PvP fans and look forward to the return of the Trials of Osiris.
But first, let’s see what the new week has to offer.

These Nightfalls are available: For the regular Nightfall (Power level 820) you can choose from these Nightfall strikes:
- Strange Terrain
- Savathun’s Song
- Guardians of Nothing
In Nightfall: The Proving Grounds you can attempt the strike
- The Weapons Dealer

Strikes and story missions are available with the following modifiers:
- Void Burn
- Iron
- Heavyweight
The modifiers rotate daily, except for the Burn modifier. This one remains unchanged throughout the week.
Crucible: In PvP, the following modes and playlists are available:
- Private Match (Core Playlist)
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Control (Core Playlist)
- Dynamic Control (Rotation Playlist)
- Lockdown (Rotation Playlist)
- Elimination (Core Playlist)

Escalation Protocol: On Mars, you can earn this weapon from the end boss in Escalation Protocol:

Petra Venj can currently be found in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. Here the maximum curse level (3) is active. Additionally, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active.

Here’s how Powerful Loot is categorized in Destiny 2: Powerful Loot comes in various tiers, granting you different power boosts. Consequently, higher tiers grant you higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Top Gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes beyond 960 and up to a maximum of 970. From 960 up to +2 power)
Note: Power levels gained through the seasonal artifact are not counted towards the calculation of the power levels of your drops. Here, the average of the gear and weapons is decisive.
