In Destiny 2, the Weekly Reset has occurred, the weekly reset. These activities, such as the Nightfall strike, are new this week as of 12.12.2017.
Since Curse of Osiris, the Weekly Reset takes place on Tuesdays at 6 PM. However, since there were maintenance works yesterday at this time, to install update 1.1.1.1, we are now providing the Reset information.
Nightfall starting 12.12. on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
Players who do not own “Curse of Osiris” cannot play the Prestige Nightfall. They only have access to the normal Nightfall strike, and only if a strike from Curse of Osiris is not up.
This week, Savathun’s Song is the Nightfall. This is a strike that was available at the launch of Destiny 2. In other words, all Guardians can play this in Normal Mode.
The modifiers:
- Momentum: Health and shield regeneration stops when you do not move. Sprint to accelerate regeneration.
- Timewarp: Anomalies: Destroy anomalies to extend the mission timer.
The challenges:
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes of remaining time.
- Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
- Shoot 15 of its projectiles before defeating Savathun’s Song.
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is on Mercury for the first time. There, you can participate in the largest public event so far.
The raid challenge takes place in the throne room with Calus.
Cayde-6 has three treasure maps for Mercury.
Ikora Rey has meditations for Flood, Utopia, and The Entrance. Important: It will show that Ikora has a quest for you, her waypoint will be highlighted. However, this is a known issue after the update. She does not have a special mission for you; Bungie is investigating the problem.
In the Eververse, you can redeem Glimmer for: Confused and “Dancy-Dance” emotes (both legendary) and two exotic ornaments for the Rat King. Since yesterday, the “Glimmering Favor of the Vanguard” and “Glimmering Favor of the Crucible” are new in the offer. If you use these, all players will receive an Eververse gift at the end of the next strike or PvP match.
Remember that now all vendors have an offer of legendary items that you can purchase with shards and corresponding tokens.
By the way: The faction rally has been postponed. It was supposed to start yesterday. When it will take place now is still unknown.
