In Destiny 2, you will soon receive a cosmetic as a gift, but dataminers are already selling the special emblem to unsuspecting Guardians. Bungie has now issued a purchase warning.

Don’t fall for this: In Destiny 2, some players are currently selling codes for a rare item that isn’t even properly in the game yet. It’s about an emblem, a cosmetic that decorates your Guardian and your interface.
- Dataminers have found the emblem “A Classy Order” in the entries for the ongoing Season 14.
- On top of that, the database hackers also found codes that allow you to activate the emblem on your account now.
- It is currently being sold under the name “Spicy Ramen Coupon” emblem.
- But Bungie firmly states: “Don’t buy that, it will be a free gift!”
The purchase warning was issued by Community Manager Dylan “dmg04” Gaffner from Bungie late on Monday night:
When will the item be free? As mentioned in the Twitter post, the emblem will be available as a gift on Bungie Day. Bungie Day is celebrated every year on July 7. Whether you need to do something specific for it is currently unknown.
The number 7 holds great significance for Bungie and in their games, appearing frequently – sometimes hidden and sometimes completely open like on Bungie Day. This has been a tradition since Halo.
However, the Bungie Day was initiated by the community. Bungie liked it so much that on July 7, there are always gifts, special codes, and artworks for the players. The “7th Column” is, for example, one of the rarest and most sought-after medals in PvP. It goes back to the 7-pointed gear, which is often seen at Bungie.
This irritates Bungie: In his Twitter post, Gaffner also expressed his frustration with leakers and dataminers. He urged them to stop revealing story details or emblem codes prematurely. He knows it’s cool to be the first person with such fresh information – but Gaffner appeals to not spoil the joy for others.

Bungie pays respect to fan favorite Cayde
Why is the emblem so special? The emblem is a direct reference to Cayde-6, the Guardian who passed away in 2018. The wisecracker, space cowboy, and lovable scoundrel was the most popular NPC for many players.
- At the start of the celebrated Forsaken expansion, Cayde was murdered, which sparked the Western revenge story of the expansion.
- Noodles (ramen) were Cayde’s favorite food, and there is also a corresponding snack shop in the Tower.
- The successor to Cayde-6 has still not been found, even now, over 3 years later. Although Bungie is doing everything to replace Cayde soon … with a candidate that many would prefer dead than alive.
Moreover, the emblem is rare, simply because it is not yet normally in the game. Some Guardians show off with it. After all, all players always see what emblem a Guardian carries in every activity, before a match starts or when inspecting in the social space.
Because Bungie had deleted the original noodle coupon for inventory cleanup, a small war broke out in 2020:
