Today, on February 13, a new update is pending for Destiny 2. Through the changes, Bungie aims to ensure a better player experience in the future. Additionally, they are nerfing the Warlock’s (Super) wings.

The schedule for today’s maintenance
These times are important today: The maintenance is scheduled to not last long and to proceed swiftly. However, Destiny 2 will still be offline for a short time.
- The maintenance starts at 5:00 PM German time. From that point on, some functions of Bungie.net and third-party apps will be disabled.
- At 5:45 PM, all Guardians will be removed from their activities, and the servers will go offline.
- At 6:00 PM, the servers are expected to be back online. The hotfix 2.7.1.2 will be rolled out on all platforms and in all regions.
- At 7:00 PM, the planned end of maintenance is expected. Bungie indicates that console players may need to restart their consoles.
What changes with hotfix 2.7.1.2?
What’s in the new update: The hotfix 2.7.1.2 is not overly large in content. Two adjustments are planned. However, these are significant:
- Due to a glitch, it was possible to maintain the Super of the Dawnblade indefinitely. That should come to an end today. Simultaneously, a lesser-known bug that allows Hunters to dodge infinitely in their Super may be addressed.
- The bug that caused players to lose their resources and currency will be eliminated. A code fix for the servers will be applied in this regard.
