Destiny 2 will start Season 9 with the following issues: As Bungie announced on Twitter shortly before the start of Season 9, you will have to deal with the following issues at the beginning of the new season:
- Some players may see the error code Chicken when re-logging after Update 2.7.0. Simply restart Destiny 2.
- The seasonal currency from Season 8 will not be automatically deleted from the post office. You will have to do this manually.
- The seal for the “Savior” title incorrectly shows a requirement of 28 triumphs. However, the seal will be unlocked after unlocking 15 triumphs listed within the seal.
- The shields of barrier champions will not disappear when you use the exotic trace rifle Divinity.
- Your progress for the quest step “A Matter of Time” may not be counted if you return to orbit too quickly after completing the Sundial activity.
- The seasonal triumphs “Challenges”, “Rituals”, and “Engagement” from the Season of Dawn do not work properly. They will be fixed in a later update, and the corresponding requirements will be lowered then.
Additionally, there were some general tips about the new activity Sundial:
- Players must have connected an obelisk with the Sundial to receive loot at the end of the activity.
- If you stand in front of an obelisk, you can be killed by enemies.
