Update:
- 4:13 PM: The servers are now down, you can no longer log into Destiny 2
- 4:15 PM: The Day One Patch is live. It is 7.45 GB on PS4, about 7.25 GB on Xbox One, and 7.6 GB on PC
These new features await you on 4.9. with update 2.0.0.1 / 1.24 for Destiny 2
Among other things, the following features will be added to Destiny 2 today with the Day One Patch:
- Equipment Collections
- In-game Triumphs
- Random Rolls on Weapons
- Mod System Update
- 3 new Crucible maps (+ one PS exclusive)
- New Crucible mode
- Power Level counts in Iron Banner and Trials
- Lore in the game
- New Bounties
Note: Not all features of update 2.0.0.1 will be available immediately on September 4. Special events, such as Iron Banner, will start later. The new Crucible maps will also be released at a later time.

Destiny 2: Maintenance, Downtimes, Server Downtimes on 4.9. before Forsaken
With update 2.0.0.1 for Destiny 2, maintenance work will also take place on this Tuesday, September 4, 2018. There will be a several-hour server downtime.
When does Forsaken start? If everything goes smoothly, Forsaken will launch today promptly at the weekly reset at 7 PM.
Official maintenance schedule:
4:00 PM:
- Players will no longer be able to log into Destiny 2
- The Destiny Companion app, equipment and clan features will not be available on Bungie.net, mobile devices, and third-party apps during this time
- Destiny 2 update 2.0.0.1 will be made available on all platforms and in all regions
4:30 PM:
- Destiny 2 will go offline for maintenance. All guardians still in the game will be returned to the main screen
7:00 PM:
- Estimated end of Destiny 2 server maintenance
- Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2
- The Destiny Companion, equipment, and clan features will be activated again on Bungie.net, mobile devices, and third-party apps
