If you want to try the new Gambit mode, you now have the chance to do so this weekend. For all owners of Destiny 2, there is a Gambit demo before the launch of the Forsaken expansion.

Starting Saturday, September 1st, you have the chance to try the upcoming PvEvP mode Gambit before the release of the Forsaken expansion yourself. We have compiled all the important information for you.

What is Gambit? Gambit is a new game mode for Destiny 2 and comes with the Forsaken expansion. The mode represents a mix of cooperative PvE combat and PvP elements.

When does it start? Interested players can test Gambit for a full 24 hours.
- The Gambit demo starts on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 19:00.
- It ends on Sunday, September 2, at 19:00.

On which platforms can the Gambit trial version be played? The demo version can be played on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
How can one participate? All you need is a copy of Destiny 2. The Gambit demo can be played by all owners of Destiny 2 – no additional content is required.
Do you have PS Plus? The base game Destiny 2 is included in the current September offering of PS Plus and is already available for download for members in advance. You can also test the Gambit mode this weekend with this version.
What rewards are there? The drops are limited to Year 1 items. You will have to wait until September 4th to grab Gambit-specific rewards and Year 2 loot.
Does progress count for the release version? No. To level up in the Infamy rank, you will also have to wait until the Forsaken release. During the 24-hour demo, no Gambit stats will be saved. You can track these starting September 4th on Bungie.net.
