What is the Whisper of the Worm? The Whisper sniper represents the reincarnation of one of the most popular legendary sniper rifles from Destiny 1 – the Black Spindle from the Crota raid. It is an exotic sniper rifle that is held in the power slot.
What makes this sniper rifle so good?
This sniper is a true DPS monster and effortlessly takes down almost every boss or elite enemy in Forsaken. Especially when multiple instances are involved, bosses practically melt.
With the perk Mulligan, missed shots have a chance to return directly to the magazine. With White Nail, rapid precision hits will refill the Whisper’s magazine. The Whisper of the Worm draws ammunition not from reserves, but essentially from nowhere – so you theoretically have unlimited ammunition with this weapon.
How do you get this sniper?

The catalyst can be obtained as a reward for completing the heroic Whisper mission on IO. As a masterwork, the weapon gains the additional perk Control Breathing. If you aim with the weapon for a while without firing, it grants a momentary bonus range and additional precision damage while zoomed.
