Sleeper Simulant
What is the Sleeper Simulant? The Sleeper Simulant is likely already familiar to many veterans from Destiny 1. The weapon made its return to Destiny 2 with DLC II. It is an exotic linear fusion rifle that is equipped in the power weapon slot.
What makes the linear fusion rifle so good?
Due to the intrinsic perk “Rifled Barrel”, the fired laser beam of the Sleeper penetrates enemies in its path and is also deflected by hard surfaces. The beam splits into 5 parts, each of which can still deal decent damage.
Despite some nerfs, the weapon is still excellent for taking down bosses or elite enemies. It still spreads fear and panic in Gambit mode when you appear as an invader in the opposing arena.

The catalyst for the Sleeper can be found in the toughest challenges of the Astral Pinnacle – specifically in the Prestige Eater of Worlds of the Leviathan raid. As a masterwork, the Sleeper then gains a faster reload speed.
