Some players in Destiny 2 can look forward to a new ship this weekend. “A Thousand Wings” is linked to the catalyst of the sniper rifle Whisper of the Worm, which some players can complete this weekend.
While some players in Destiny 2 are still struggling with the Whisper of the Worm quest, others can already complete their weapon’s catalyst this week and upgrade the sniper rifle to a masterpiece.
Additionally, this weekend marks the first time that players can complete all tasks for the ship blueprints that drop from the secret sixth chest during the quest.
Whisper Quest brings sniper rifle and ship!
The grind is real: The questline surrounding the sniper rifle Whisper of the Worm is quite a challenge: Guardians not only have to complete the time-critical quest, but also have to repeat it on Heroic difficulty for the catalyst.
Guardians need another three weeks to complete the tasks for the catalyst. The first players can complete this challenge for the first time this weekend and also snag a special ship.
To obtain “A Thousand Wings”, the Whisper mission must be completed once each during the Arc, Solar, and Void modifiers on Heroic difficulty.
The ship is a reskin of “Judgment’s Carve”, the ship from the Kingsfall raid in Destiny 1, and has a Taken look. It is said that no other shader can be applied to this ship.
