What you need to know today: Today, Bungie is taking its servers down for a routine maintenance. This time, it is not known why Bungie is shutting down its servers. The developers are probably tightening the last screws before the release of “The Final Shape” to ensure everything is ready next week.

Maintenance on 29.05. – All times for server downtime
These times are important today: Bungie is informing its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be unavailable for 3:15 hours today.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 3:00 PM, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At about 3:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 7:00 PM, the shooter is expected to be back online and you will be able to log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 9:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also be unavailable for a while, so you may not be able to use them.
What changes with the new update in Season 23
The following issues are known: Even in the Season of Wishes, there are many problems that players are complaining about. Bungie is aware of some, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- Significant changes to the sandbox for PvP are to be rolled out.
- The fireteam finder is missing some options like adding Bungie friends.
- Some legendary emotes are sorted with exotic emotes.
- Veist rifles can only be partially rotated when inspected.
- The shotgun “Pursuit of the Mind-Bender” no longer glows when fired.
- Some rocket launchers no longer display when inspected.
- Old artifacts are still displayed in players’ inventories.
