Destiny 2 is shutting down its servers today, November 19, for a small maintenance. The servers will therefore be unavailable for a few hours. You can find out when the maintenance starts and what is in the patch notes from us.
This is what you need to know today: Today marks the start of Act 2 of Episode: Revenant with update 8.1.5. Many changes regarding ultimates will be implemented to lighten the current meta. For this reason, Bungie is shutting down its servers. We are accompanying the downtime and will provide you with the most important information now.
Maintenance on November 19 – All times for the server down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players on x.com about the exact downtime. It is planned for the servers to be unreachable for 1 hour and 15 minutes today.
This is the schedule for the maintenance:
- At 3:30 PM, background maintenance starts on all platforms.
- At about 4:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 6:00 PM, the shooter is expected to be online again and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 7:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also not be properly accessible for a while, so you cannot use them.
What changes with the new update in Revenant
The following problems are known: There are also many issues that players have complained about in The Final Shape. Bungie has noted some, but it is not known which of them will be resolved (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- Gunpowder gambling prevents the activation of the healing effect “Facet of Remedy” for the Hunter-Prism focus.
- Gunpowder gambling prevents the activation of the weapon perk “Adrenaline Junkie” for the Hunter-Prism focus.
- The IX-shell can glow extremely bright with certain shaders.
- The exotic rocket launcher

does not receive elemental weapon surge armor mods.
