In Destiny 2 the Weekly Reset begins with a new patch for the loot shooter. What you need to know about the downtime and the upcoming content can be found here in our overview of the server down.
You need to know today: In Destiny 2, patch 8.0.5.4 starts today, on September 10. This brings new missions, items in the shop, and could hold one or the other secret regarding the 10th anniversary of the loot shooter. You can find out how long the downtime will last here in our overview.
Maintenance on 10.09. – All times for server down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via X.com about the exact downtime. It is planned that the servers will be unreachable today for 3:15 hours.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 15:00, background maintenance starts on all platforms.
- At around 15:45, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 19:00, the shooter should be back online and you can log back in.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 21:00.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also not be functioning correctly for a while, which means you cannot use them.
What changes with the new update in Echos: Act 3
The following issues are known: There are many issues that players are complaining about in The Final Shape. Bungie has some on their radar, but it is not known which of these will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- For PC players with enabled 3D audio the audio output in the game does not work.
- When class-specific exotic glaives are crafted, the error code “Weasel” appears.
- When playing on PlayStation with enabled 3D audio the audio output does not work.
- The slam attack with consecration no longer shatters Stasis crystals.
- Heat wave is not activated when gliding or mid-jump.
- The diamond lance no longer shatters Stasis crystals.
- The wish-bringer title was taken away from players who had previously obtained it.
