In Destiny 2, the Weekly Reset starts with a new patch for the loot shooter. What you should know about the downtime and upcoming content can be found here in our overview on the server down.
This is what you need to know today: The Solstice event starts its second week. Players still have time to enjoy ornaments and unlock armor. There were also bugs here, but they may be fixed today. More details on the downtime can be found in the ongoing article.
Maintenance on 13.08. – All times for the server down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. It is planned that the servers will be unreachable today for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 15:00, background maintenance starts on all platforms.
- At about 15:45, the servers go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 19:00, the shooter is expected to be back online and you can log back in.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 21:00.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also be unavailable for a while, so you won’t be able to use them.
What changes with the new update in Echos: Act 2
The following issues are known: There are also many problems in The Final Shape that players are complaining about. Bungie is aware of some of them, but it is not known which ones will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- For PC players with 3D audio enabled, the audio output in the game does not work.
- When crafting class-specific exotic glaives, the error code “Weasel” appears.
- When playing on PlayStation with 3D audio enabled, the audio output does not work.
- The slam attack with consecration no longer shatters Stasis crystals.
- Heatwave is not activated when gliding or mid-jump.
- The diamond lance no longer shatters Stasis crystals.
- The wish bearer title was removed from players who had previously obtained it.
