A new week begins in Destiny 2, and that means a new patch with various bug fixes for the loot shooter. You can find out when the server downtime starts on 14.5.2024 here.
What you need to know today: Today Bungie is taking its servers down for a routine maintenance. This time, the famous “Hour Zero” mission will be unlocked, in which Guardians march through the old tower and stop Fallen from looting.
MeinMMO will keep you updated. We’ll tell you how long the downtime will last. Additionally, we will update this article as soon as there is new information.
Maintenance on 14.05. – All times for server downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact outage times. The servers are planned to be unreachable for 3 hours and 15 minutes today.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 3:00 PM, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At around 3:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 7:00 PM, the shooter is expected to be back online and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 9:00 PM.
Also, consider that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also not be correctly reachable for a while, so you cannot use them.
What’s changing with the new update in Season 23
The following problems are known: Even in the Season of Wish, there are many problems that players are complaining about. Bungie is aware of some of them, but it is not known which ones will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- Significant changes regarding the sandbox for PvP are set to be rolled out.
- The fireteam finder is missing some options, such as adding Bungie friends.
- Some legendary emotes are being sorted with exotic emotes.
- Veist weapons can only be partially rotated when inspected.
- The shotgun “Thought-Bender’s Ambition” no longer shines when fired.
- Some rocket launchers are no longer displayed when inspected.
- Old artifacts are still displayed in players’ inventories.
