On this Tuesday, Destiny 2 is receiving an update again. This means you will be temporarily banned from the game to bring the loot shooter up to date. MeinMMO will tell you when you can log back in.
This is what you need to know today: As with almost every Tuesday, there is a new update for Destiny today as well. For this, the servers must go offline, which means you will not be able to play for a while.

Maintenance on 06.02 – All Times for Server Downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtime. The servers are planned to be unreachable today for 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Here’s what the maintenance schedule looks like:
- At 14:00, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At approximately 14:45, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- During the downtime, Bungie will gradually roll out update 7.3.4.1 so that players on all platforms can download and install it.
- At 18:00, the shooter is expected to be back online and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 20:00.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also be temporarily unavailable, so you cannot use them.
What Changes with Update 7.3.4.1 in Season 23
The following issues are known: Even in the Season of the Wish there are many problems that players are complaining about. Bungie has noted some (via bungie.net), but it is not known which of these will be fixed. However, the following bugs may be addressed:
- The fireteam finder misses some options like adding Bungie friends.
- Some legendary emotes are sorted with exotic emotes.
- Veist rifles can only be partially rotated when inspected.
- The shotgun “Thought Reverser” no longer glows when fired.
- Some rocket launchers no longer appear when inspected.
- Old artifacts are still displayed in players’ inventories.
