Today, on October 11th, the new dungeon “Vesper’s Host” starts in Destiny 2, and to ensure everything goes smoothly, Bungie is doing a quick maintenance in between. What you should know about the downtime is here.
Bungie has listed a large number of weapons and items that cannot be used on Day One of the upcoming dungeon. These include the Wardcliff Coil and One Thousand Voices. You can find the full list here -> x.com.
This is what you need to know today: Today at 7 PM German time, the new dungeon “Vesper’s Host” starts. The latest trailer already teases the new adventure, as Guardians will have to fight against a Fallen again, as they know from the Deep Stone Crypt raid.
However, before you can participate in the Day One race, Bungie needs to maintain its servers for a short while to ensure they run smoothly at launch.
Maintenance on October 11th – All Times for Server Downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players on x.com about the exact downtimes. It is planned that the servers will be unreachable today for 45 minutes.
This is the maintenance schedule:
- At 3:00 PM, background maintenance starts on all platforms.
- At around 3:45 PM, the servers go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 4:30 PM, the shooter should be back online, and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 5:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications as well as the official companion app may also not be correctly accessible for a while, so you won’t be able to use them.
What changes with the new update in Revenant
The following issues are known: Even in The Final Shape, there are many issues that players are experiencing. Bungie has some of them on their radar, but it is not known which of them will be fixed (via bungie.net). The following bugs could, however, be addressed:
- Gunpowder gambling prevents the activation of the healing effect ‘Facet of Restoration’ for the Hunter Prism subclass.
- Gunpowder gambling prevents the activation of the weapon perk ‘Adrenaline Junkie’ for the Hunter Prism subclass.
- The IX Shell can glow extremely bright with certain shaders.
- The Anomalous Action pistol shows a range stat of 0.
- The exotic rocket launcher Double Tail Fox does not receive Elemental Weapon Waves armor mods.
