Destiny 2 is taking its servers down today, October 15th, for a little maintenance. Players will have to do without their space magic for a few hours. We will provide you with the patch notes and downtime updates.
What you need to know today: The servers of Destiny 2 will be taken offline today. This is a standard maintenance. The Festival of the Lost is not yet being celebrated, but surely some bugs will be fixed that are currently causing issues.
Maintenance on 15.10. – All times for server downtime
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players on x.com about the exact downtime. The servers are scheduled to be unreachable for 3 hours and 15 minutes today.
Here is the maintenance schedule:
- At 15:00, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
- At around 15:45, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.
- At 19:00, the shooter should be back online and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 21:00.
Also, be aware that third-party applications and the official companion app may also be inaccessible for a while, so you can’t use them.
What changes with the new update in Revenant
The following issues are known: There are many issues that players are complaining about in The Final Shape. Bungie is aware of some, but it is not known which will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs may be addressed:
- Gunpowder gambling prevents the activation of the healing effect “Facet of Restoration” for the Hunter Prism focus.
- Gunpowder gambling prevents the activation of the weapon perk “Adrenaline Junkie” for the Hunter Prism focus.
- The IX shell can glow extremely bright with certain shaders.
- The Anomalous Action pistol displays 0 in the range stat.
- The exotic rocket launcher Double-Tailed Fox does not receive elemental weapon surge armor mods.
