In Destiny 2, the Weekly Reset starts with a new patch for the loot shooter. What you need to know about the downtime and the upcoming content can be found here in our overview of the server down.
What you need to know today: Today marks the start of the second week of Act 2: Echoes in Destiny 2. The shotgun “Perfect Paradox” is still missing from the loot pool, which Guardians are already looking forward to. Additionally, the story regarding the Conductorship continues.
However, before the new content is added, you will have to endure a downtime with an additional download of the update. How long this will take and what you should consider will be explained in the following section.
Maintenance on 23.07. – All times for server down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtimes. It is planned that the servers will be unreachable today for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Here is the schedule for the maintenance:
- The background maintenance starts at 3:00 PM on all platforms.
- At around 3:45 PM, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked out of the game.
- At 7:00 PM, the shooter should be back online and you can log in again.
- The maintenance will continue in the background until 9:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not be available correctly for a while, so you may not be able to use them.
What changes with the new update in Echoes: Act 2
The following issues are known: There are also many issues in The Final Shape that players are complaining about. Bungie is aware of some, but it is not known which of these will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:
- For PC players with 3D audio enabled, the audio output in the game is not working.
- When crafting class-specific exotic glaives, the error code “Weasel” appears.
- When playing on PlayStation with 3D audio enabled, the audio output is not working.
- The slam attack with consecration no longer shatters Stasis crystals.
- Heat Wave does not activate when gliding or mid-jump.
- The diamond lance no longer shatters Stasis crystals.
- The Wish-bearer title was taken away from players who had previously earned it.
