In Destiny 2, one downtime follows the next. Bungie conducted maintenance yesterday and has also scheduled maintenance for today. The servers will be going offline again. MeinMMO will let you know exactly when you cannot play.
What you need to know today: Yesterday Bungie started a maintenance marathon before the upcoming Season 19. A total of 3 dates were scheduled during which the servers will be unavailable for all players for a while.
- Yesterday, on November 30, the servers were already offline for 2 hours.
- Today, the same downtime is planned, but with a longer, concluding background maintenance that should last a total of 5 hours.
- The next downtime is scheduled for December 6, coinciding with the start of the new Season 19. However, this will be relatively short and will bring Destiny 2 to version 6.3.0.
While Bungie works on the servers, MeinMMO will accompany you and update this article with fresh information as soon as the maintenance begins. So stay tuned so you don’t miss anything.

Maintenance on December 1 – Everything about times and server downtime
As always, Bungie has provided detailed outage information about the maintenance. We offer you this information in our article with the German times. This way, you can better plan your gaming day today.
All times at a glance:
- As already mentioned yesterday, today’s maintenance begins at 4:00 PM German time on all platforms.
- From 5:00 PM, the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked from all activities.
- At around 7:00 PM, the servers are expected to be back online.
- However, the maintenance work will continue in the background until 11:00 PM.
Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not function correctly for a while after the downtime.
If you encounter any other issues in the game, the recommendation is to report them directly via the official Bungie Help Forum to make the developers aware of them.
Don’t forget to collect your rewards
Bungie has informed its players that they can only claim their earned but uncollected vendor rewards from the previous Season 17 on the website until December 6.
Where can I redeem my rewards from Season 17? This is possible via the “Previous Season Pass Rewards” page. Previous season pass rewards can only be claimed in Destiny 2 until the end of the following season. After that, they are irretrievably lost.
What do you think of this maintenance marathon from Bungie? Are you hoping for improvements? Or are you annoyed by the downtime? Feel free to leave us a comment.
The next maintenance will be on December 6 at the start of Season 19. There will be some new features waiting for the Guardians, such as in PvP:
