In Destiny 2 additional gameplay material for Curse of Osiris has emerged. This reveals a selfie emote and exotics.
On October 30, the first expansion of Destiny 2 named “Curse of Osiris” was officially presented with a reveal trailer. Countless Guardians immediately dove into the shown footage, and some YouTubers quickly released trailer analyses afterwards.
In doing so, the community noticed: some YouTubers, most notably My name is Byf, analyzed completely new footage that Bungie hasn’t officially revealed yet. This “secret gameplay” showcases some cool things – like a selfie emote!
This additional gameplay begins here at 3:32 – we have marked the spot:
What can be seen in the new footage?
The footage shows a new PvP map located on Titan – in the Neo-Pacific Arkology. Initially, control zones can be seen, followed by a PvP battle.
Meanwhile, it is known what this is about: It is the PlayStation exclusive PvP map “Wormhaven”, which is introduced with Curse of Osiris. Community manager DeeJ teased it on the PlayStation Blog.
This footage is presumably a (excerpt from a) promo trailer intended to advertise the PS4-exclusive content and was actually supposed to emerge at a later point. It is unclear how My name is Byf got this clip, but he presumably received it in advance from the developers.
What does this “secret gameplay material” reveal?
The end of the trailer caused quite a stir. A Guardian is obviously using a selfie emote, which you can see here:
This emote will likely be quite sought after by some Guardians after the launch, as it will allow for many cool recordings.
Interestingly, the end of this video clip also shows on the right side of the screen, not just tokens are displayed as loot, but also a lot of gear (albeit only of blue quality). Perhaps this is an indication that there will be more post-match rewards in the future.
Furthermore:
- These armor pieces can be spotted:

- The Guardians are character level 25. We have already reported about this max level increase with Curse of Osiris.
- Here is gameplay footage from the Telesto, which has already been discovered in the official trailer:

- The exotic Hunter helmet Graviton Lance from Destiny 1 returns. However, in Destiny 2 it will need a new exotic perk:
Will Curse of Osiris bring new PvP maps and old exotics along with a new raid?
