Every Guardian who has been in the Crucible of Destiny knows him: Lord Shaxx.
This is the Crucible leader and the voice that constantly makes announcements in PvP. Most of the time, these announcements are quite sober, but occasionally Shaxx can get a bit euphoric. And as the following video shows, he even has a thing for puns.
Bungie introduced the Videos of the Week, with this amusing clip receiving a commendable mention. It is simply titled “Shaxx loves puns” and has so far received 100% positive ratings:
In the video, the player manages to blow away three opponents with the tractor cannon and shove them off the cliff. Lord Shaxx then exclaims, “Look how they fall!”
Normally, Shaxx is only moved to such a statement when someone manages to defeat multiple opponents at once. As in this case. However, the sentence fits the situation doubly well because the opponents are indeed “falling” – namely down the cliff. A wonderful pun.
