In the Dreaming City of Destiny 2, several chests are hidden. We show you the locations of the Ascendant chests and the locations of the Arc Charge chests.
A city full of chests: Those strolling through the Dreaming City will sooner or later stumble upon chests. Be it
- chests in Lost Sectors
- chests from public events
- region chests that are displayed on the map
- or mysterious chests that require Arc Charges or suddenly appear in front of you.
We will now present the “mysterious” chests along with their locations and loot.
All Ascendant Chests – Locations
The Ascendant Chests: These are chests that are not visible and must be tracked down. You need a consumable item called “Queen’s Leaf Tincture” for this.
This item opens your mind to the secrets of the Dreaming City for 30 minutes. It can randomly be found in various chests you discover in the city. You can access region chests quickly.
This is what you find in Ascendant Chests: You receive a blue item, Dark Fragments, and with a bit of luck, some random loot, namely the Queen’s Leaf Tincture. The loot is not particularly exciting.
This is how you find Ascendant Chests: Drink a Queen’s Leaf Tincture, which allows you to see platforms that are not usually visible in some locations. You must jump on these platforms, which appear one after another. At the end, a platform with the chest appears. For some chests, you need to show good jumping skills.

All Arc Charge Chests – Locations
The Arc Charge Chests: These are chests that you can also see with Queen’s Leaf Tincture. According to user reports, they sometimes appear without tincture in the area as well. They are not marked on the map. You need to bring three Arc Charges to them for them to open. The chests are not permanently available and will disappear after a certain time. So hurry up with the charges.
This is what you find in Arc Charge Chests: Various items such as blue items, Baryon Branches, and Dark Fragments. They may also contain legendary items.

If you stand on the chest, the three circles around the chest will indicate the directions in which you need to walk to find bowls with Arc Charges. The bowls can be relatively far from the chests – you may have to walk several meters.
