What to do with “Korsarin Out of Commission”
This is how the quest for “Korsarin Out of Commission” begins: Once you possess the item, the game does not tell you what to do with it. The item description simply states that a radio is faintly crackling and a garbled SOS can be heard, repeating something about a garden (or another area). What should you do?
Search for a dead Korsarin: In the Dreaming City, there are the Gardens of Esila – a place you may visit if the item references a garden. There lies a dead Korsarin on the ground. Venero TV shows you how to get to the Gardens from the spawn point. The location is marked (2:33):
Once you interact with a Korsarin, enemies will spawn for you to defeat. The boss drops the item “Korsarin Insignia”.
Important: There are several dead Korsarins in the Dreaming City. One is in the Gardens, one is in the Lost Sector right near the spawn zone in the Divalian Mist, and one is far left above the map. The locations are here at the green arrow and in the displayed Lost Sector:
Arekkz Gaming shows the locations, although there may be further sites. Which location you need is stated in the item description. For “Chamber”, for example, you need to be in a Lost Sector. There is currently no video guide with all the locations available.
Note: Some users report that you need the consumable item “Queensleaf Tincture” if the Korsarins do not appear for you. This item opens your mind to the secrets of the Dreaming City. It drops randomly from all sorts of chests in the city.
What do I do with the Korsarin Insignia?
Take the Korsarin Insignia to a royal guard outpost. One is located right near the spawn point if you stay a little to the left. Venero TV leads you there (3:18):
Quest loot: Once you have submitted the item there, the quest ends and you receive your loot. According to several user reports, this consists of a blue item and two Dark Fragments.
“Korsarin Out of Commission” is therefore not particularly worthwhile. You can also obtain Dark Fragments through the bounties from Petra Venj. You can spend your time more wisely than searching the entire Dreaming City for Korsarins.
