Destiny 2 is not Destiny 2. Depending on which version you buy or have pre-ordered, there are different contents. There is a Standard Edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition, a Collector’s Edition, and a Limited Edition. Which one do you want to buy?
Destiny 2: Overview of the contents of the editions and pre-order bonuses
Destiny 2 is available in the following editions:
- Standard Edition (Destiny 2 – Amazon offer): Includes only the main game and costs 69.99 euros for PS4 and Xbox One and 59.99 euros for PC. The season pass is available here.
- Digital Deluxe Edition (in the PlayStation Store): This edition costs 109.99 euros and includes the base game along with the expansion pass and digital premium content such as a Legendary Sword, a Kill Tracker Ghost, an emote, and badges in Cabal style.
- Collector’s Edition (Destiny 2 Collector’s Edition – Amazon offer): The Collector’s Edition is a version of Destiny 2 that includes the game and the digital goodies of the Deluxe Edition as well as physical goodies like a bag, a laptop case, a survival kit, and a steelbook case. Accordingly, this edition costs a whopping 249.99 euros (the PC version is 10 euros cheaper).
- Limited Edition (Destiny 2 – Limited Edition – Amazon offer): This edition includes all the goodies of the Deluxe Edition, but comes in a limited steelbook and a Cabal collector’s box. It costs 109.99 euros and 99.99 euros on PC.
Pre-orders of Destiny 2 receive additional goodies with their chosen edition, such as a Ghost that counts kills, the exotic weapon Coldheart, and a salute emote.
