Why Destiny 2 is special for Google Stadia
What’s the deal with Destiny 2 for Stadia? If you purchase the Stadia Pro subscription, you can play Destiny 2 with all previously released DLCs for free. All other games you have to purchase. If you cancel the Stadia Pro subscription, you will also lose access to Destiny 2. However, the titles you have purchased remain your property.
Google Stadia is therefore not Netflix for gamers. So far, there has been no other free game besides Destiny 2 announced. The service basically provides hardware in data centers through which games can be streamed, and hence it is more of an option for individuals who have a fast internet connection, but do not own a good computer.
