On November 5th, it starts again. The Iron Banner is back in Destiny 2 and you can once again flex your power level muscles. Additionally, there are some changes for heavy ammunition.
When does the Iron Banner come? Lord Saladin returns with the next round of the Iron Banner.
- Iron Banner Control starts on November 5th at 6:00 PM
- It ends a week later, on November 12th at 6:00 PM
You will have four bounties for the Iron Banner week that you can complete. The bug that caused daily resets of the bounties has been fixed.
However, you should wait to turn in your pinnacle rewards from the banner until the hotfix goes live on November 7th.
As a result, the rewards will be 2 levels above your power level, not just one level.
What are the changes? A few weeks ago, changes were made to the spawn rates of heavy ammunition in the Crucible:
- In “Control,” you can pick up heavy ammunition starting at second 45. The next time, the ammunition will spawn in 120 seconds (previously it was every 60 seconds) after picking it up.
- In “Conflict” and “Supremacy,” heavy ammunition will be available for the first time starting at second 60. After that, you will have to wait 120 seconds.
These adjustments will also apply to the Iron Banner next week.
