Bungie introduces the characters in Destiny 2 in smaller vignettes. Today: Ikora Rey as the coolest Warlock and Commander Zavala, the Titan with the best Bubble.
After the introduction video of Cayde-6, Ikora Rey and Commander Zavala complete the Vanguard trio. There was also a short introduction video for the new character Hawthorne.
Commander Zavala – the fearless leader
Commander Zavala is somewhat the counterpoint to the fun and sarcastic Cayde-6. Dead serious and always on duty – that’s what characterizes Commander Zavala. Could easily be a German.
Commander Zavala is the head of the Titan Vanguard and was prominently featured in this impressive trailer:
Commander Zavala is described as the one who is there when it matters. He is the one who leads the troops into battle and fights at the front lines.
Ikora Rey – Nova Bombs with style
Ikora Rey was the first to prove that shooting from a Sparrow is possible. She is the head of the Warlock Vanguard and is described as fearless. She shows no mercy to enemies.
She was also introduced in greater detail in a vignette:
Ikora Rey approaches things just as fearlessly as Commander Zavala or Cayde.
