Cayde’s Exotic Hideout is the pre-order bonus for Destiny 2 Forsaken. Here you will learn how to get the pre-order items.
Guardians are looking for pre-order bonuses: On September 4, the Forsaken expansion launched, and numerous guardians successfully set off into year 2. However, some players are currently looking bewildered in their inventory and at the post office – because the promised pre-order bonuses are missing.
Bungie has since come forward and explained how you can get your loot.
How to get the pre-order items: You first need to complete the story campaign of Forsaken. Then go to Amanda Holliday, who is located in the Tower hangar. There you will receive the pre-order bonuses.
The requirement to receive pre-order bonuses is, of course, that you pre-ordered Forsaken on time.
Cayde’s Exotic Hideout – the pre-order bonuses
The pre-order bonuses are in the so-called “Cayde’s Exotic Hideout“. This includes:
- Exotic ornament “Last Leaf” for Cayde’s hand cannon Ace of Spades
- Exotic ship “Heart Queen”
- Exotic emote “Stalemate”
- Armor shader “Cayde-6 Palette”
The shaders had a bug at launch: They have the wrong name, “Cayde’s Duds”, but they are the correct shaders, and the name is supposed to be corrected to “Cayde-6 Palette” in the future.

What about the bonuses of the Digital Deluxe Edition?
If you’re a buyer of the Digital Deluxe Edition, you’ll receive additional content, namely:
- Majestic Wrath – Bow ornament for Leviathan’s Breath
- Paladin’s Lament – Emblem
- Vestian – Ghost shell
How do I get these bonuses? You will also receive the bonuses only after completing the Forsaken campaign. However, you don’t need to march to Amanda; you will receive them directly when you return to orbit after the campaign.
By the way: The emblem “Paladin’s Lament” has a bug. It is called “The Forsaken” in the game. This is supposed to be fixed in the near future.
