Those who have been diligently playing in Destiny 2 for the past few weeks can now obtain the Polaris Lance starting yesterday. We will show you what the final step looks like on the way to Ana’s weapon.
The Polaris Lance, Ana Bray’s exotic scout rifle, is locked behind a time gate. To obtain the weapon, Guardians must complete a multi-part quest, at the end of which – or, as it has now been revealed, already shortly before the end – the coveted weapon awaits as a reward.
Week by week, another quest step is unlocked, provided that you have completed the preceding tasks. This week, diligent guardians can already proceed to the fourth step. After successfully completing it, many Guardians were surprised – Ana handed them the Polaris Lance. Here’s what you need to do this week to get the exotic scout rifle.

Approaching Twilight 4/5 – The Polaris Lance
In the fourth part of the quest line Approaching Twilight, you must complete three different tasks.
Step 1: Achieve five precision multi-kills without reloading. According to player reports, any weapon works well for this. Additionally, you need 20 kills with the legendary prototype of the Polaris Lance, which you received as a reward for completing Approaching Twilight 3/5.
Step 2: Complete the mission “Fury” on IO. The mission is marked on the map for you. This step is self-explanatory.
Step 3: Activate the Sleeper Node in front of the entrance to Rasputin’s Spirit Lab. You can find the way there in this video.
Then return to Ana, activate the fourth server there with the data, and speak with her again.
By the way: If you missed the previous steps of the quest line, you can still obtain the Polaris Lance this week if you catch up on the corresponding tasks.
Reward: As a reward, Ana will then hand you the Polaris Lance.
What follows after the Polaris Lance?
Since the exotic scout rifle was already available at the end of the fourth of a total of five quest steps, the guardians are now wondering what kind of reward awaits after the final step of the quest line. However, many fans believe that there will be the exotic catalyst for the Polaris Lance. This would also give the Lance the perk Dragonfly.
We will know for sure after the next weekly reset on June 5, 2018. That will unlock Approaching Twilight 5/5.
