In Destiny 2, Bungie ended the weekly PvP event Trials of Osiris unexpectedly on Friday evening. Apparently, with the update on Tuesday, a new bug has entered the game that prevents players from reaching the Lighthouse, even if they have a flawless run.
This is the problem: As Bungie reported last night at 10:30 PM, the Trials of Osiris have been disabled for the entire weekend. It does not seem certain that the Trials will return next week. Bungie has to solve the problem first.
The Trials of Osiris were disabled because players could not reach the Lighthouse, even after completing a flawless run.
Normally, players who can record 7 wins on their ticket without losing will fly to the Lighthouse to claim special rewards. There, they can feel cool because they get to enter the fiery social space of the PvP elite.
The allure of achieving the Trials “flawlessly” is a major drive for PvP players to compete in the 3v3 mode.
Update brings new content, new problems
These are further current problems in Destiny 2: The Update 2.9.0 on Tuesday brought Season 11 to Destiny 2 and seems to have come with a host of problems:
- The only new exotic of Season 11, the Grenade Launcher Verdant Wraith, has a strange bug that allows it to obliterate raid bosses.
- There are also issues with the new Umbral Engrams: It seems that players cannot complete the quest if their inventory is full of the engravings, and they have to use a second character.
- There were login issues with Google Stadia – but they seem to have been resolved.
- A number of smaller issues and login difficulties.
Especially the Trials have repeatedly caused problems in Destiny 2. After a long break, the PvP event is actually back in Destiny 2 – just not this weekend.
A new thing that works with Season 11 is the new dungeon “Prophecy.” Everything you need to know about the PvE activity of Season 11, we will tell you on MeinMMO in this article.
