In Destiny 2 the Moments of Triumph return on July 9. This year you have the chance to conquer certain challenges and earn unique rewards. With these prizes, you can proudly show that you were part of Year 2.
What are the Moments of Triumph all about? In the form of the Moments of Triumph, Bungie traditionally looks back on the past Destiny year with the fans and wants to celebrate it together with the Guardians – this time in honor of Year 2 in Destiny 2.
In this context, you must complete numerous characteristic milestones of the 2nd year to claim some exclusive rewards. With these, you can show that you participated in the second year of Destiny 2 and remained loyal to the game.
When are the Moments of Triumph active? You can participate in the Triumph moments 2019 from July 9 to August 27, 2019. They are active as part of the Season 7. During this time, you can earn the triumphs and secure the rewards.
Who can participate? In principle, all Guardians can participate. However, if you really want to complete all triumphs and collect all rewards, you need the Forsaken expansion and the Annual Pass for Destiny 2.
This is how the Moments of Triumph work: You can complete various triumphs in different activities across the solar system and unlock rewards.
Not all triumphs will be available from the start. Some of these achievements are also tied to the upcoming summer event “Solstice of Heroes,” which starts on July 30. Therefore, the corresponding triumphs can only be earned then.
These are the triumphs you can chase: Bungie has announced a total of 20 triumphs that can be unlocked as part of the Moments of Triumph. 13 of them are regular, and 7 are tied to the Solstice of Heroes.

These are the triumphs for the Solstice of Heroes:
- Strike Stalwart
- Exotic Arsenal
- Hired Assassins
- Challenger
- Fashion Hero
- Bonus Tasks
- Master Smith
What you need to do in detail for each triumph is currently not known. However, we will quickly add the requirements here.
These are the rewards and how to get them: In total, you can snag five rewards as part of the Moments of Triumph – four of them digital, one physical. You unlock the rewards once you have earned a certain number of triumphs.

For the T-shirt, you must own Forsaken. To complete all 2019 triumphs and unlock the new title, you need the Annual Pass.
The shirt isn’t free, by the way. Once you’ve unlocked enough triumphs, you’ll receive offer codes from Bungie that allow you to unlock the personalized T-shirt for purchase in the Bungie Store. The last day you can buy the shirt is September 30, 2019.
