Months ago, Activision stated that there will be “play-in destinations” for Destiny 2. This means the planets will come alive, they will be populated, and traveling from one outpost to the next will be possible, and even cities are conceivable. This way, the quest system in the open world should be more interesting than the previous patrol missions.
Everything should relate more to each other. How Bungie implements this – we hope to get an impression during the gameplay premiere.
The question remains: What about new “social spaces”? The Tower is destroyed after all. Perhaps new meeting points will be directly located in the open world. One could seamlessly leave a meeting point and face the dangers of the world outside. This is conceivable.
