In Destiny 2, you can now watch a cutscene that could fundamentally change the course of the story. For a supposed enemy is coming back to life. However, the cutscene is well hidden.
What happened? The Destiny series is not necessarily known for its strong storytelling or emotional twists. However, that may be changing now. Following the recent Update 2.1.3, a cutscene has been introduced to Destiny 2 that is quite significant and could massively disrupt the further course of the story.

What does the cutscene show? This scene was leaked some time ago. Now there is certainty that this is actual in-game material, as the video is indeed now in the game. The leak was accurate.
In this short cinematic, it shows Uldren Sov, the Awakened Prince and murderer of Cayde-6, who had to pay for his actions with his life just recently, being resurrected by a Ghost. After awakening, Uldren appears shocked and surprised.
How can you watch the scene? The cutscene is well hidden. To watch it in the game, you need to pay a visit to Queen Mara Sov in her court.
To do this, you need to complete a bounty from Petra in the third cycle week of the Curse of the Dreaming City to earn an audience in the Queen’s court .
However, once you arrive, you’ll notice that the Queen is not there this time. To your left, you will find a table with a projection. You will be prompted to interact with it. Then you can view the scene.

What has changed after this scene? Numerous intrigued Guardians have set off after this cutscene, searching the entire world of Destiny for changes – so far without success.
There is still no trace of Uldren himself. Neither on the planets nor in the Tower has anyone or anything new been discovered yet. Even the NPCs and vendors apparently have not received any new dialogues. It remains exciting to see how and when this story twist will continue.
How might the story continue? This is one of many questions that many Guardians are currently asking. Normally, Guardians are resurrected decades or even centuries after their death. In Uldren’s case, it’s only been a few months. He himself will probably have no memory of his actions, while everyone else around him will.
How will the characters react to him? And what place will he take in the future? Apparently, he is now becoming a Guardian. Many even believe it is possible that he could become the new leader of the Hunter Vanguard. Others think it is possible that with his help we could break the Curse of the Dreaming City.
However, these are just theories. There is currently no concrete information. It remains exciting to see how the story of Destiny 2 will develop in the near future.
