Destiny 2 has repeatedly collaborated with other manufacturers. In the latest partnership, there is a special keycap. However, you have to pay 90 euros for this.
The Danish manufacturer SteelSeries has presented a collaboration with Bungie. The hardware matches the design of the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion, “The Final Shape.” However, the hardware is not cheap. You can find the entire collection directly at SteelSeries on their website.
What kind of collaboration is this? SteelSeries has presented a series of products that are supposed to be perfectly tailored to Destiny 2. The new items include…
- the “Arctis Nova 7” wireless headset,
- the Nova booster pack
- the “QcK Heavy XXL” mouse pad
- an Artisan Ghost keycap
- the “KontrolFreek Performance” thumbsticks.
All players who purchase an item from the collection will receive exclusive in-game cosmetics for Destiny 2.

Special keycap with Ghost costs nearly 90 euros
What kind of keycap is this? With the Artisan Ghost keycap, you get a handmade keycap featuring a replica of Ghost. The keycap looks as if Ghost is being overrun by some plant and has thus been captured in the keycap.
You have to pay 89.99 euros for the keycap. That’s not exactly cheap for a keycap. According to SteelSeries, there are only 3,700 pieces of this keycap. This is probably also a reason why the keycap is so expensive. With that money, you could at least buy a complete keyboard with PBT keycaps.
If you search on Etsy, eBay, or other websites for so-called “artisan keycaps,” they don’t come cheap either, but you rarely pay more than 50 euros. Unless you buy your keycaps from special artists, who also charge quite a bit.
Are such collaborations common? Yes, especially SteelSeries collaborates more frequently with developers. For example, there was a special Diablo collection from SteelSeries released with Diablo 4. And you only received a special cosmetic if you purchased a headset or mouse for more than 100 euros: You can only get a stylish cosmetic in Diablo 4 if you buy expensive hardware
