Just a week after the release of the new raid Scourge of the Past, the new PvE endgame activity of Destiny 2 is no longer a challenge – at least for exceptional players like Gigz or Gladd. They have once again proven their skill.
What happened? On December 7, 2018, the new raid Scourge of the Past from the new premium DLC The Black Armory went live. But while numerous Guardians are still struggling with the level requirements of the raid, some talented players show just a week later that the raid is almost trivial for them.
What does the video show? The exceptional talent Gigz, along with two other top players, Gladd and Phammy, have accomplished a remarkable feat in the new raid. Within just half an hour, the Guardians defeated Scourge of the Past – and did so just the three of them without dying even once.
With their performance, the team almost downgrades the new raid to (Nightfall) strike level. During their run, they appear so relaxed that you actually get the feeling they are just running a strike together and casually chatting. At no point does stress or haste occur, which is often the case in raids.
This was another top performance in the raid: Gigz had already claimed the world first race in Scourge of the Past with a team from the Tier 1 clan in less than two hours on December 7 .
The race was accompanied by a controversial discussion, as the team was able to revive more often than intended due to a bug.
