Although the hotfix from May 15, 2018, resolved some annoying bugs, a new error is now troubling players in Destiny 2. Hawthorne’s clan XP engram currently rewards players below their current power level.
New bug frustrates players: Hardly had Bungie removed some of the most annoying bugs with hotfix 1.2.0.2, when another error caused frustration among the Guardians.
Since the weekly reset on May 15, reports have increased that Hawthorne’s clan XP engram occasionally rewards players with rewards up to 5 levels below their current power level.
Since leveling in Destiny 2 has become more difficult with the Warmind expansion, many fans are now upset. This removes one of the sources for increasing power level.
Bungie is working on a solution: As Bungie has now confirmed via Twitter, this is also a bug. Bungie is already working on the problem. Until the issue is resolved, the studio is offering a temporary solution.
Here’s how to bypass the problem: You can currently avoid this bug by not redeeming the milestone this week with Hawthorne. During the next weekly reset, the clan XP engram will be automatically decrypted. The contents will land in the post office – this time with a higher power level.
