Clan XP rewards are still faulty in Destiny 2 this week. The corresponding reward from Hawthorne still provides items below the current power level of the players. This is how you can circumvent the issue.

Clan XP bug still plagues players: Although some of the most annoying bugs were fixed with Hotfix 1.2.0.2, a known issue is still causing frustration among the Guardians this week.
After the weekly reset on May 22, it is clear – the Clan XP engram from Hawthorne still delivers rewards that are sometimes five levels below the players’ power level.
This once again removes one of the weekly opportunities for Guardians to increase their power level.
Bungie is working on a solution: A week ago, Bungie confirmed that this is a bug and that they are working on a solution. Until the problem is fixed on May 29 with a hotfix, the studio offers a temporary workaround.
This is how you can circumvent the bug: As with last week, you can bypass this error by not redeeming the milestone this week. At the next weekly reset on May 29, the Clan XP engram will then automatically decrypt. The contents will land in your inventory – then correspondingly with a higher power level.
But beware – the rewards will not be marked as new items in the inventory! Make sure you do not accidentally dismantle them.
