In Destiny 2, the first Ascendant Challenge is now active, which you can undertake in the Dreaming City. In this guide, you will learn how to do it.
How do I get an Ascendant Challenge? Visit Petra Venj in the Dreaming City. She has this challenge available as a Weekly Bounty in her inventory. In the first week of Forsaken, the bounty is available and expires 7 days after it is accepted.
What do I get from it? With this Ascendant Challenge milestone, you will receive top loot. The rewards are Dark Fragments and Powerful Gear, which allow you to acquire items beyond the soft cap of Power Level 500.
Ascendant Challenge with Queen’s Leaf Tincture
The requirement for the bounty: Grab the bounty from Petra and first look for a consumable item called “Queen’s Leaf Tincture”. This item opens your mind to the secrets of the Dreaming City for 30 minutes. It can be found randomly in various chests throughout the city.
How to access the Ascendant Realm: Go to Petra Venj. Now enter the Lost Sector located right next to Petra. When you activate the tincture, a portal opens that teleports you to the Ascendant Realm.
Tip: It is sufficient to take the tincture in the Lost Sector. This way, you will have more of the 30 minutes that you have for the challenge.

In the Ascendant Realm: Now run along the edge of the Ascendant Realm, where you can shoot four Taken Blights. Ignore all other enemies.
Once the Blights are defeated, run to the center of the Ascendant Realm where crystals are floating. Destroy them to kill the boss enemies.
Tip: It is advisable to shoot the outer crystals first and then the inner ones so you can run in a circle, forcing the enemies to follow behind you.
End of the bounty: Then open the reward chest, and the bounty is complete. You have now finished the Ascendant Challenge, and the loot is yours. Don’t forget to turn in the bounty in your inventory.
