The power weapon Edge Transit has become a true running gag in the Destiny 2 community with the expansion Forsaken. The Edge Transit dropped way too often, causing players to complain and then make jokes about it. Now, as the reign of the weapon appears to come to an end, Reddit user iAmDragyn honors the Edge Transit with a very special video.

What was the problem with the weapon? We have already reported multiple times that the weapon Edge Transit was dropped far too often in the weeks following the release of Forsaken. According to Bungie, there was indeed a bug that caused the Edge Transit to appear more frequently than other weapons.
How will the problem be solved now? To put an end to the Edge Transit once and for all, more weapons were added to the loot pool with the Update 2.0.4 on October 16. “Through Fire and Flood,” “Zenobia D,” and “Slate Tearer-4fr” are supposed to increase weapon variety.
What is shown in the video? Player iAmDragyn wanted to honor the weapon “for all of his past Edge Transit drops” and has also given it a great “farewell tribute.” He likely speaks from the heart of all players who felt in recent weeks that the Edge Transit was slowly taking over the game.
The community is responding positively. Some viewers are already considering the video as Movie of the Week and have advised iAmDragyn to submit it for the weekly competition at Bungie.
