Secrets and hidden chests

The Vault of Glass is still considered by many guardians as the best raid in Destiny. One important reason for this is all the mysteries and puzzles that this raid posed in Year 1. One felt like an explorer in a foreign world as they roamed through the chamber, expecting a new secret behind every rock.

In fact, the guardians even had a specific target in mind: A “lost chest,” the mysterious 6th chest in the Vault of Glass. Nothing was left untried to find this object of desire. Even the song of the Oracles was analyzed and tested.

We expect similar mysteries from the raid in Destiny 2. We hope it will contain plenty of secrets to be found, awakening the explorers’ spirit in the guardians, making players want to turn every stone in this raid to want.

In addition to hidden chests, we would like the raid to include hidden exotics – an extensive quest similar to that for the Outbreak Prime. Because nothing ignites the hunters’ fever like the prospect of exotic weapons.
