In Destiny we present our video highlights of the year 2016. Here are the top 10.
In 2016, the Guardians community was extremely diligent: They sent us countless amazing works, which we featured every Monday in the “Videos of the Week”.
At Bungie, the community manager Cozmo is responsible for selecting and presenting the best videos of the week. All Guardians who participated in one of the winning videos receive this beautiful badge from him, which they can show off in-game to other players:
As most of the Destiny developers are still on vacation and therefore there are no new “Movies of the Week” this week, we won’t show you any new videos today, but take the opportunity to present our “Videos of the Year 2016”. The video submissions we received from you this week will be taken into consideration next week for the selection of the “Videos of the Week”.
In our 2016 highlights, you will find many musical masterpieces, a lot of creativity, and some breathtaking Crucible scenes. Enjoy!
Lord Saladin at the University
The first video was released with the launch of “The Rise of Iron” and quickly garnered hundreds of thousands of views (currently over 331,000). It is from Impact Props and shows the former Iron Banner vendor Lord Saladin as he goes to the university:
