Soon, Dead by Daylight will see some serious killing again. The new killer “Legion” finally has a release date.
For almost two weeks, players of Dead by Daylight can already test the new killer on the PTR and get their first impression of Legion. Even though the feedback is mixed, the developers seem to be satisfied with Legion and want to release him shortly. A release date has now been announced along with the official trailer.
When does Legion release? The new chapter “Darkness Among Us,” which contains the killer Legion, a new survivor, and a new snow map, will be released on December 11 – so already next week.
What can Legion do? Legion is capable of entering a blood frenzy for a few seconds. Then he can vault over pallets and windows, just like survivors can. In this mode, he inflicts the debuff “Deep Wounds,” causing opponents to slowly bleed out if they are not healed in time.
What perks do the new characters have? What the new survivor Jeff Johansen can do, and the perks of Legion have been explained in detail in this article. As usual, you unlock the perks through the blood web and can then teach them to other killers or survivors.
The community is divided: The community does not seem to be very happy with the upcoming patch. Many see Legion as a wasted potential. Although he looks similar to a survivor, his gameplay is rather unspectacular and many players find his ability disappointingly boring and useless.
How Legion will ultimately perform will only be shown in the weeks after the release.
