The developers of Dead by Daylight have released some interesting statistics. It is clear which killer commits the most murders.
A few days ago, the players of Dead by Daylight had the opportunity to ask the developers of the 4vs1 horror game for insight into several statistics. Now the corresponding statistics have been published, providing information on which killers are particularly successful and which grip size leads to success. We would like to briefly present some of these statistics here.
This killer kills the most: On PC, the Hag is the most successful killer. 66% of all survivors die per match – that is, between two and three. Closely followed by the Hillbilly (62%) and the Trapper (61%). The lowest success on PC is held by The Legion and the Clown. Both kill with a success rate of only 50%, meaning they “only” take out two of four survivors.
Also interesting: on consoles, the Nurse is by far the least successful killer. She manages to kill an average of only 40% of survivors.
Those who play with friends survive more often: The statistics also show that the group size of survivors positively affects their survival, even if the benefit is in the low percentage range. Per player, the survival rate is as follows:
- Solo: ~42%
- Group of 2: ~44%
- Group of 3: ~46%
- Group of 4: ~49%
The majority of players play alone: However, statistics also reveal that many more players play Dead by Daylight solo than assumed. A little over half of all players on PC (~54%) register as solo survivors. Only a very small percentage (~5%) register as a full 4-man team.
The percentages are quite similar on PC and console, by the way.
These are the most popular killers: The developers have also broken down which killers are most liked on the different platforms and sorted this result by the ranks of the killer players. This is particularly interesting for PC:
- Rank 1-4: Nurse
- Rank 5-12: Hillbilly
- Rank 13-18: Trapper
- Rank 19-20: Huntress
On PlayStation, the Hillbilly dominates ranks 1-12. On Xbox One, however, Legion is the most popular at rank 1 – this may change after his nerf.
If you want to see all the statistics, you can find them in our sources.
Do the statistics correspond to your perception in the game? Or do you find that an entry is striking or incorrect because you see it differently?
Already seen? Dead by Daylight might soon get a killer from “Scream”!
