Dead by Daylight reveals a new killer and a fresh survivor. Both will be available in just a few days.
The developers of Dead by Daylight have let quite a big cat out of the bag. The next chapter – which in Dead by Daylight is a new DLC – will be released in just a few days and will bring both a new killer and a brand-new survivor. Additionally, there is a new map that differs significantly from the previous maps.
The Doctor is inspired by Chinese horror stories and could easily have escaped from the horror title Outlast. He has two “stances” that make life difficult for the survivors.
- In the “Punishment” mode, he can swing his metal rod and injure survivors.
- In the “Treatment” mode, he has an aura that fills all nearby survivors with madness. Madness builds up slowly, persists for a while, and triggers different effects.
As a result, survivors sometimes receive audio notifications that the killer is right behind them, even though he is on the other side of the map. Also, the skill checks no longer appear in the middle of the screen but somewhere else. And mad survivors scream from time to time, revealing their position.
Dead by Daylight: New Survivor Feng Min
The new survivor Feng Min is Chinese and is actually part of an eSports team in the story – but now, she is somehow trapped in the Entity’s nightmare. Her perks ensure that she makes less noise when repairing a generator, can reverse failed skill checks, and receives a small speed burst when climbing over an object.
New Map: The Doctor’s Hospital
Additionally, there is a fresh map, namely The Doctor’s Hospital. It is the first map that takes place entirely inside a building and features many tight rooms that all look very similar. You should never feel safe and always be afraid that the killer might be lurking behind the next archway.
The chapter “Spark of Madness” will be released on May 11 on Steam and costs $6.99 – the Euro price will likely be similar.
By the way, Dead by Daylight will also be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the future.
Cortyn says: And that makes the plan “you won’t spend much on games this month” fail again. I’m really excited about the new killer and the map – only the new survivor doesn’t appeal to me, her perks all seem boring in my eyes. But maybe the first impression is misleading.
