A new killer for Dead by Daylight has been teased. Apparently, the killer has been taken from SAW.
The entity from Dead by Daylight is bringing a new killer into its realm. A new trailer from the developers shows very little information, but it’s enough for real horror fans. A bear trap that closes with a time lock and the statement “Let’s play a game” – Let’s play a game.
All alarm bells are ringing for horror fans, as this sounds suspiciously like Jigsaw, the serial killer from the SAW series, who constantly invites his victims to “play” games that require them to face dangerous tasks that almost always end with the death of the participants.
Youtuber TydeTyme has taken the time to analyze the various SAW films and the trailer in detail. He does not expect us to see a puppet on a tricycle – that would be somewhat silly. Moreover, in the films, it is never the puppet itself that commits murders, but always the mastermind behind it, who uses the puppet only as a mouthpiece.
TydeTyme believes we will get the killer in a red robe with a pig mask who already performed the abductions in the first part of SAW. This would visually fit wonderfully with Dead by Daylight and certainly make for a creepy killer.
Regarding the killer’s abilities, there is still no information. However, it would be cool if the survivors had to solve some kind of puzzle before time runs out – this will surely be revealed in the coming days. As soon as the perks and abilities are known, you will find out here.
It is also known that the next DLC with Jigsaw will bring a new survivor – guaranteed a survivor from the SAW films.
