In DC Universe Online, a race of pink space starfish threatens the world! In missions, duos, alerts, and even raids, the Starros cause trouble, and your heroes must stop them.
Your heroes in DC Universe Online are already dealing with all sorts of bizarre foes, but with the Starro, a new peak of absurdity has been reached. The Starros are a race of pink space starfish that control their enemies.
DC Universe Online – Event – Starro the Conqueror
The Starros lived in the sea for a long time until they were caught by some unlucky researchers from Atlantis and could take over. Starros can latch onto a person’s face and control them. A gruesome fate! After the Starros further multiplied in the sea, they are now launching a major invasion of the coastal regions!
To deal with the Starro plague, your heroes in DC Universe Online need to go out again and beat the parasites. Starting April 5, the following missions and instances will be available:
- Central City Starro Deluge (Open World Mission): Thousands of Starros are swimming ashore, and your heroes must help the people from S.T.A.R. Labs or LexCorp contain the plague.
- Starro: Spreading Spores (2-player Duo): Starros are spreading across the Earth, attempting to take over great heroes and villains. You need to stop them along with a partner!
- Starro: Invasion (4-player Alert): This time, the Starros have controlled even more dangerous individuals, which requires the deployment of four heroes.
- Starro: The Threat Below (8-player Raid): The Starros are coming from an ancient Atlantic research base beneath the Arctic. There, you need to go with seven other heroes to eliminate the plague at its source. The research base is a completely new map that is said to be particularly creepy and disgusting. The raid is available for players from level 10 or as an endgame version.
As a reward for your efforts, there is a cool “Starro the Conqueror” costume, which is just below the current gear from Amazon Fury III. Additionally, you can stick (harmless) Starros as decorations on your face or clothing. Furthermore, in the duo alert and the following alerts, there is a special crate that contains special rewards for members, such as slots for the Starro mask or costume.
On April 5, the new Time Capsule Team-Up will also start. So, if you’re not into starfish, you can enjoy that.
