In DC Universe Online, Update 18 brought the Atomic Powerset, a nuclear-powered ability, and Episode 19 is coming next month.
DC Universe Online has switched to monthly new content patches. This provides small tidbits, but they come regularly.
In November, Episode 18 is now available for all players in DC Universe Online. There was a mission for a duo, as the League of Assassins causes trouble in Central City. And an 8-player mission continued the story of the Black Lanterns.
Then in December, Episode 19 will be released. This will conclude the “League of Assassins” storyline with a 4-player alert and an elite alert. You have to take Ra’s al Ghul’s notorious mountain fortress with Black Canary.
Additionally, there is an epilogue in the December episode for the story of Trigon.
But not only new content is coming, but also system changes. The “Atomic Powerset” has been active since this month, adding a new playstyle to DC Universe Online. Atomic-powered heroes and villains are now possible. Half a year ago, they introduced ammunition as a new concept for heroes and villains.
