The superhero MMO DC Universe Online makes 26 DLCs playable for free until the end of 2016.
DC Universe Online used to receive a new DLC quarterly – the pace was quite leisurely, similar to other MMOs. Since spring 2015, the game switched to smaller, monthly DLCs – and now these are piling up. Currently, Episode 27 is out: Amazon Fury Part III. DCUO follows, like the comics, numerous storylines over longer periods. The first part of Amazon Fury was released in May 2014.
The third part of the Amazon saga is still kept secret – it must be purchased separately or unlocked via a subscription.
However, the 26 previous DLCs will be available for everyone for free on PC, PS3, PS4, and more recently, Xbox One until the end of the year, until December 31, 2016. A good time to check out this beat-em-up MMO.
